Well, well, there’s like a bell ringing like to say that it’s time for everyone to announce the most important list of the year ( to me ) … It is true that we use to make lot lists during the year , but do we really respect one of those huge wish lists ? This is certainly not the travel bucket list that will be respected…. or at least try to get closer? To begin, I will avoid stating endless lists of countries which I am almost certain not to find this year, not that it is about science fiction but let’s be realistic, unless billionaire or to have the incredible opportunity to be sponsored by a large hotel group, or to have 1 million subscribers in social networks, or be see world famous photo, which plans to visit the same year: The Japan, Peru, Alaska, Bora Bora, the Amazon and make a safari in Tanzania …? That said, for those who can afford to carry, know that I respect you deeply ?
So rather than give you a list that comes straight out of a Forbes magazine , I will share with you, of course destinations that invite to dream, but in the most total realism, I promise. I am among those who say it is better to take advantage of accessible destinations or those that require a greater preparation time but that meet our budget and our physical condition , again I appeal to the average , and actually if you have decided to program a sabattique year to see the world , I congratulate you and respect you to the highest point and promised
Basque Country: San Sebastian
Obviously, after freshly returned from the destination in question, you can imagine that I will devote an entire article, you just have to be patient 😉 This is a city that I knew without really know because I spent often in the Basque country by car to reach the south of Spain effectively, in particular through the towns of Biarritz, Saint Jean de Luz, Bidart, and continue in Spain by San Sebastian, Vitoria Gasteiz and so on …
When we think about the city of San Sebastian, at least for me, immediately come to mind the trio of words: Surf, Sea and Gastronomy, Oh no not rather trio Quartet, I would add, without hesitation “architecture word” to his own is breathtaking

2. United Arab Emirates : Abu Dhabi
Having explored in Dubai extensively and this for a while , even considering I can be a little trip in the year, I thought it might be time to explore the neighboring town , not any ; not to mention the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque , and the various events related to art , there is a whole chapter of history to discover share Architecture of the city, much older than his former colleague Dubai .

The region of the Landes forest, specifically in Aquitaine, I have dreamed since small and I wonder why I still have not visited. This region knows where greenery is needed. Landes evoke cycling amidst pines, surf waves, dunes and ocean beaches, lakes … It is also a whole within the country where beats the heart of the Landes culture, its sense of celebration and gastronomy.
Where to stay

Still a Teen dream still has not realized but I intend to somehow try to achieve . The architecture , natural landscapes to fall, to refuel deco design objects , for its history, for its gastronomy between land and sea , to breathe air cooler too, as many reasons as there are stars in the sky…

On Airbnb again ! Otherwise immerse you in a design atmosphere but warm in there SP34 hotel opened less than three years , in the heart of the city. With modern Danish architecture with white walls , chic complexion, and modern wood paneling, the hotel is an excellent compromise between modernity and accessibility both in terms of proximity, but also ambiance budget.
7. Spain: Sevilla
Because it has an architectural, historical and cultural beauty unusual, because it is one of the Andalusian cities to possess the most beautiful palaces in the world, and because-as I stayed on my hunger for the ‘sneak having visited as a youngster (or rather having visited his store Zara), well I want to deepen my discovery during a few days and finally-because I’m in love with the Andalusian culture since my youngest age.

The Alfonso XIII Hotel is a full-fledged work of art.
8. Turkey: Istanbul
I always feel that many cities remain in a large city by going to Istanbul and that’s what pushes me more to explore. Two gigantic suspension bridges thrown over the Bosphorus connecting the Asian Istanbul with European Istanbul. In turn, the latter is divided into two by a famous estuary of the Golden Horn: to the south, the peninsula of old Istanbul (Sultanahmet, Sirkeci …), which includes most famous monuments. In the north, Galata neighborhoods, with Beyo?lu Istanbul late nineteenth century, extended by the modern city begins the “real life” Stambouliotes …

Marseille – France
